The Promise

how many times I slip and fall
into the pit of my own,
into the dangers of rocks and cliffs?

You are my only anchor,
a strength I can seek in the mists of rainbow,
a power I can seek In every raindrop.

And though at  the end of the road
I have failed you;  still,  as you’ve promised
the sun shines.   And during  stormy nights

You guide me  as I  sail, until the giant waves
toss me back safely,  to touch the fine sand
and once again embrace coolness of the shore.
